Shot for Svenska Verket in the winter of 2003, these images were published in Kalendarium - a club and event guide to Stockholm. They usually worked thematically, having five to seven images on one theme in each issue.
The title "Minus 7 minutes" refers to the statistic that each cigarette one smokes shortens ones life expectancy by 7 minutes. The shutter was open for as long as it took the subjects to finish one cigarette.
The camera used was a Hasselblad 501c loaded with Kodak Portra 400NC.
